"the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"The property was new and in a quite area. The views were great! However, the property was clearly not ready for us. We were unable to set up the TV because we did not have access to the WiFi password. We eventually found the info/welcome page on top of the kitchen cabinets which should have been placed in an area where it could easily be found. The kitchen drawers had leftover dry foods left open and other things that clearly should have been cleaned up. There was some trash left behind...

"Everything was great! The only thing was is the WiFi didn’t work while we were there. Other then that, it was everything we needed. "

"We got stuck in snow traveling up the road to our cottage, and it was very scary for us. The road should have been closed sooner than it was, but nevertheless our host helped and came to get us. He drove us from our stuck rental car to our cottage and then brought us back to the car the following morning and helped us dig our car out (literally shoveled our car out with us)!!!! "We were greeted by the friendly owner. Having a kitchenette and living area was a welcome sight. Our first night (different hotel) was a very small room so the extra space was a welcome relief. The room was very clean and the views were stunning. There is a small deck with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. GPS had difficulty finding this but luckily we found a very helpful person to send us back in the correct direction. It is right on the ring road so it shouldn't have been a problem."

"Very basic, no frills. It should, I feel, be made clear that you need to bring your own bedding and towels as by the time you've paid to hire these you could have stayed somewhere a lot better! You're also required to clean before you leave. Chalet clean enough apart from bathroom being rather smelly. "

Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it. "
