Bus station is down the road but bus service stops at 7 pm It’s on a steep hill, no problem for us but should be considered. Didn’t feel kitchen was well-stocked: no frying pan, no salt/pepper. Make sure to stock up on basics like coffee pods and oil for cooking."

"Had a great and affordable stay. The apartment is on a busy road but I didn't mind it. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Pillows felt weirdly non-existent though. When trying to ask a question on arrival, I called and spoke to a lady in reception who could not seem to communicate in a professional manner (which is something I strongly value when communicating with anyone). I don't know how to explain, she was rude and unpleasurable to speak to and in the end I didn't even get resolution to...

"Being on the ground floor gave us the extra space of the outside patio. There’s a large table and even lawn space for stretching/yoga after a long hike. Kitchen has ample supplies for anything you need. Can walk to the grocery store or drive a few minutes into town for restaurant options. Had a hard time finding the laundry key, but the owner worked to have the superintendent bring one for us. I would recommend staying here for a great view and easy access to everything"

"Very noisy road construction all day approximately 20 feet, yes 20 feet, from the front door..Due to this construction, the road in front was one-lane, causing all traffic to use the lane in front of the apartment. It was very noisy from 4 a.m. until midnight. Had there not been large bushes between our walkway and the street, the apartment would not have seemed safe from traffic. "The accommodation was satisfactory but looking out onto a very nearby wall, the room was gloomy and dark. All accommodation in Grindelwald is very expensive and this was priced at the low budget end. Seems if you want a room with half-decent view you have to pay a lot more."
