"Sharon is a wonderfully accommodating host, very friendly and professional, and eager to share useful local knowledge. The room was spacious, warm, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast options are variable and delicious. There is on street parking opposite for people with cars, we had no problem parking and the car was visible from our room. We would definitely stay at the Burnside again and can highly recommend it."

"I stayed for 1 night. I have used many B & B's, so was a little apprehensive. However, all that apprehension was a waste of energy. The B & B was lovely and the staff very nice. I did not score 5 on all points due to a couple of very minor issues. I had a double room no. 24 on the third floor. Please note no lift - So if you have climbed Helvellyn you may not want to take the extra steps up. Room and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard. "Friendly couple Gary and Sue. Great location with on site parking in a car park behind the property. There is lovely flat walk into the centre on Keswick. "Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. There is seating outside on the patio which is also accessible and a shallow slope from the drive to the property. The surrounding area is...
