"It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay. Very informative and welcoming! Our dinner and breakfast host Manjo (I probably have spelled his name wrong) was GREAT! My wife has a dairy intolerance and he made sure at night everything was dairy free and he remembered the next morning. All the staff who waited on us we very pleasant, smiling and friendly. You have a great team at this hotel. Please thank everyone for us. "

"Good base to visit the Northern Lakes. Stunning views from our very spacious and comfortable room. Had to choose breakfast options the evening before. Dinner was limited to a set menu with no choice so we ate out. "

"We had a great break at Borrowdale Gates. the place is o peaceful and the views are immense!! Even had a red squirrel pop up onto the window ledge while we had our breakfast yesterday. We will return again soon."
