"This was a fantastic location to explore Edinburgh. Leith itself is a great hub and the flat is just a few hundred yards from The Shore tram stop - a quick zip into the city centre. Having a private parking space is a huge benefit as parting in Edinburgh is usually a nightmare. The flat is spacious and comfortable. I would absolutely come back."

"Fraoch House is a sweet place. It's older and has charm. Matthew the host was solicitous and eager to please. We had breakfast one morning and it was excellent. Our room was adequate. Lack of a plug convenient to one side of the.bed and.odd chairs that tipped over when we sat in them were drawbacks. The location was a disappointment. "Hotel in general need of a ‘spruce up’, noisy and the breakfast staff weren’t the most helpful. However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel. "We got lucky and found a street parking spot right in front of the property. Once we arrived there was no one there and we couldn’t find our room. We had to call the emergency number and after about 10 minutes on the call with them, we found it. It would be nice if they put clear markers for all rooms. We were facing to road and an ally so we opened our windows to let the cool breeze in. The room was perfect! Also, there is an Indian restaurant near by that I would highly recommended!!! "
