"There was a problem in the room, but the staff got it sorted straight away. Within 10 minutes we were in a different room and starting a brilliant stay. The staff were excellent! It felt like nothing was too much trouble."

"Great location.Apartment had everything you could need.Good value. Only niggle is,the apartment is ready for a spruce up.decor just in need of a lick of paint,and some of the furniture was a little tired."

"We are usually premier inn customers but this time the Hilton was cheaper to stay. We were seeing Eric Clapton at Liverpool and we are local but decided to make a weekend of it. Hotel was lovely but just felt everything was a bit stingee. Cups In room were tiny and one milk each, one tea bag each. Chairs in room weren’t comfy and no fridge. Not enough staff on. Quite pricy at the bar. Overall nice place to stay x "

"The Richmond used to be a great property but feels neglected of late. Room given initially was so smelly, asked the manager and to his credit changed the room to something more pleasant. Overall, the cleanliness is not great, lots of visible damage to the hotel, but only stayed for one night so made do. Have stayed before an the hotel does have a nice wing which is newer but rest of it was poor and it's the second time I've needed a room change. "

"Enjoyed our stay, staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, my Husband was particularly pleased to see no mushrooms, as he is allergic to them. No risk of cross contamination worries. 10/10 Everything was clean, and housekeeping very efficient. A small stain on the carpet and signs of wear and tear stiff sliding doors on wardrobe. Mattress a, little soft, but that's personal preference. Nothing that would stop us coming back."

"Good size and good location. Got a balcony to look outside. Only wish the view is a little better, as it faces city buildings, rather than the Mersey river. Bathroom, TV and kitchen facility are all spot on! "
