"The St Ives is a really family friendly hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids entertainment was very good. If I had one critique it would be that the £9 charge for a kids meal is quite expensive for a two year old. Maybe under 5’s should eat for less? It didn’t spoil our break though. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. "

"We have stayed many times at this hotel and it has always been pleasant, very clean and cannot fault the staff, apart from one young man serving on the bar on Saturday night whom I asked for a Long Island ice tea, he said no the hot drinks machine is broke ? I said it’s a cocktail? And he replied abruptly I know but we’re not doing them ?apart from that it was lovely. "

"I booked a single. The room allocated was a twin so I had plenty of space. It was ideal for two people. The bathroom was a bit small but was fine. A few small things did not work and small repairs required. Window didn’t lock and the light over the sink not working. The bed was sooooo comfy and ample tea, coffee and milk provided. Breakfast was self service and the food provided was good. Hot drinks (tea coffee) were ordered via the staff along with poached/fried eggs to go with the...
