"We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating, it’s close to shops and bars and a few minutes walk to the beach. "The major downside is the lack of parking if you arrive on a sunny day or at the weekend. Also a room on the ground floor is noisy because it’s beside the toilets and breakfast room. Got woken up Staff lovely and room was good but the shower is tiny and I am only 5”4 and 8st. If you are larger then you will struggle to fit in. "

Dalmeny Resort Hotel
3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (494)
"Our room was fairly basic but clean and tidy with a sea View. It was comfortable if a little tired looking and a fridge/minibar would have been welcomed. The breakfasts were good with a decent choice of hot and cold foods and juices. We only dined once and enjoyed our meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a shame we did not have time to make use of all the facilities particularly the indoor pool. All in all we enjoyed our 3 night stay and would be happy to go back to the Dalmeny...

St Ives Hotel
2.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (612)
"The St Ives is a really family friendly hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids entertainment was very good. If I had one critique it would be that the £9 charge for a kids meal is quite expensive for a two year old. Maybe under 5’s should eat for less? It didn’t spoil our break though. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. "

"We have stayed many times at this hotel and it has always been pleasant, very clean and cannot fault the staff, apart from one young man serving on the bar on Saturday night whom I asked for a Long Island ice tea, he said no the hot drinks machine is broke ? I said it’s a cocktail? And he replied abruptly I know but we’re not doing them ?apart from that it was lovely. "
