"Julia’s Cabanas is a great place on the beach in Placencia. The AC is cold and necessary in May. The bed/sheets/pillows are really good. Shelly is the best. She has great communication and cares about her guests. She is attentive and happy to be of service. She is such an asset to the property."

"Not a big concern but there’s a construction around that makes feel like all property is under construction, recommend to isolate the construction side and limit the access only for the main office and rooms. "

"Norlyn met us on the beach when our boat arrived and gave us a ride to his B&B. Comfortable and clean room. Common area has a shared refrigerator. On our second day we had an early departure for Corcovado and Norlyn served us an early breakfast and gave us a ride with our luggage. Great value!"

"My husband and I really enjoyed our time at the relax house. It was the first place we stayed in after arriving in Costa Rica, and with the quaint little neighborhood and locked gates to the neighborhood and the house, we felt completely safe and comfortable. It is such a cute place and looks exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It did end up being just a little bit farther from town then I thought it was going to be, but we ended up liking the location even better than staying...

"This is a car town. Event though my cabin was .8 miles from downtown. The hills are steep and unless you are used to walking such steep hills, it does get exhausting. Our cabin boy even got tired walking with us. No Uber, they have taxis, so you better ask the office your exact address of your cabin. The downtown area is very nice. "We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."
