The power went out at the hotel, then the fire alarm started. Apparently there was an electrical fire on first floor. You could smell the electrical fire in the lobby. There was only one front desk person and she was overwhelmed. We had ti evacuate hotel, pack in dark and walk down 5 flights of stairs. The room was already so hot from the outside temperature and no ac due to power outage of a couple of hours. We had to leave and get another hotel. I tried to call Expedia and ended up in a chat box requesting a refund. We are hoping to see that refund soon.

The property is well located and the room is very comfortable, clean and the bed is comfortable, no complaints about the room itself, however an employee came over and without knocking or announcing himself opened our door and got in to our surprise/scare, not very nice at all and apologized only after we ask what was he doing, it was early in the morning and we were getting dressed, very disappointing on customer service. We later saw that he was the person in turn at the reception
