Find the inner kid at WaltDisney World ® Resort, swim with dolphins at SeaWorld and explore theuniverse at the Kennedy Space Centre! Orlando is abusy, compact city full of adventure and thanks to the tropical climate, Orlandois the perfect all year round for family holidays. But it’s not just themeparks that give Orlando its reputation; it’s alsoknown for pristine golf courses and top space and science centres.

Orlando is known asthe theme park capital of the world. Walt Disney World Resort has to be one ofthe most popular vacation destinations in the United States, and the world. Themore than 10,000-acre park consists of four theme parks, two water parks andhas more than twenty hotels. Within the “Magic Kingdom®” stands a life-sizeversion of Cinderella’s Castle, while Epcot® let’s you learn through games andexhibits about the latest innovations in technology from around the world. SeaWorld®Orlando and Aquatica ™ is the place to admire the sea creatures andcool off on the thrilling water rides – you’ll need it under the Orlandosun. Then there’s the nearby Gatorland, where you can learn everything aboutthe reptiles in the swamps of Florida.

Thanks to the proximity to the Kennedy SpaceCentre, Orlando is a centre for engineering andtechnology. Visit the launch site where the first US mission to the moon began. The Space Shuttle Launch Experience takes place in the cabin of a spaceshuttle, and offers a realistic simulated space journey.

The OrlandoScience Centre, near the Downtown district, provides compellingentertainment for the whole family. There are exhibitions about everything, from dinosaurs to the flora and fauna of Florida and the science behind lightand electricity.

Want to experience a force of nature? Then headtoward Harry P. Leu Gardens, a twenty-acre park with green lawns and ancientoak trees. Here you can admire one of the most beautiful natural phenomena of Orlando:afternoon thunderstorms. Prepare yourself, when it is announced, for atheatrical light show and a brief downpour better than anything man can make.
