"Kim’s Cottage and Jim’s welcome were both awesome, two of us stayed for three nights and it was exactly as described and expected. The private patio was wonderful and it made for easy living. Nice accommodations in Waimea
"A very convenient location for staying in Waimea-- there are two supermarkets and one health store across near by. Several restaurants/coffee shops within a mile and a lovely 1 mile (2 mile round trip) nature path across the street. It is a bit of a drive to Kona or Hilo but still accessible. Email the hotel with your information (email address) even if you intend to check in before 4 PM (flight delays etc) so they can email you with how to check in after hours. Staff were friendly in person and on the phone. In addition to a coffee maker, my standard room had a mini fridge which allowed me to store snacks/produce w/o fear of spoilage or pests."
