"We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "

"The Kinloch Ainort Apartments were a joy - so peaceful with the sheep grazing and the quiet of the area. The apartments appear to be brand new. They are spacious and have everything you will need for a great stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot! We traveled to Broadford (15 minutes or so away) to get groceries at the CoOp. We also enjoyed a really good pizza at Cafetesia there. After visiting busy Portree on our trip around the Isle we are glad we chose a quieter place! "

"Skye is a magical place and staying at this property was the most wonderful experience! The property is located in the middle of sheep farms and gorgeous scenery! The house has been renovated and beautifully decorated. The host, Lorraine, was extremely helpful and responsive to all of our inquiries. "We stayed for three nights at this amazing cottage and loved every minute. The house has a quaint atmosphere, but all the modern amenities was very clean. It’s only 15 minutes from Portree so we ate out one night and cooked in for tonight. Fridge was large, and the kitchen was equipped with, most of the basics we needed.
