    Open plan living with wonderful natural light in a traditional stone croft house. Willie Mcleod’s House sits detached in a crofted landscape with beautiful views towards the nearby sea and the hills.

    Near midway between Staffin and Uig, Willie's is well placed for access to the coast and the Trotternish Ridge with it's spectacular and wondrous Quiraing rock formations.
    Inside the classic picturesque whitewashed cottage exterior is a modern-living surprise – all air, space and light downstairs in the living area, with smart, contemporary furnishings and tasteful, sympathetic decoration. The wood-burning stove adds to the air of warm, comfortable welcome.

    The kitchen and bathroom finish the ground floor accommodation in style and functionality, including a walk-in shower and seperate bath and an additional single WC. The kitchen is fully equipped and newly upgraded, including electric oven, hob, washing machine/dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and dishwasher.

    Up the wide wooden stairs to 3 bedrooms – a (king-size) double, a twin and a single. We provide linen and towels. An initial basket of logs and kindling is also provided for the wood-burner. Boot room.

    Off-road parking for at least 3 cars. Willie’s shares it’s large garden with our own Byre.

    Free unlimited wifi. No smoking. Pets strictly by arrangement.

The drive to the cottage was full on Scottish Highlands driving experience with sheep and cows dotted along the way. The cottage is literally at the end of the road and self sufficient. It is cozy. Has 3 rooms upstairs (one of them is smaller), and all other facilities are downstairs. The drive to the Storr is relatively short. It was an authentic Scottish Highlands experience for us!

I can't even begin to describe how perfect our Croft house truly was. The peace and quite, the beauty. The baby lambs being born. If you are looking for a true getaway without all the noises and rush of city life, I highly recommend this quaint little Croft house. Lorraine took care of us and made sure we felt at home. The Isle of Skye and Scotland will always have our hearts!

We loved the nearby hike to the north point. This was a great jumping off point for exploring the peninsula all day and a cozy place to come back to.

A cozy and beautiful cottage, the host is very kind and the place around stunning. The neighbours are rabbits and sheeps, so this is a very quiet place, but you can go everywhere on the island so this is a perfect spot to stay.

Amazing stay on Skye

Our stay here was simply wonderful. The home is beautiful and in an amazing setting. It was a great base for us to get out and explore the beauty of Skye as a family. Highly, highly recommend this property if you are looking for a getaway to visit the Isle of Skye!

We we at the end of Skye and lived it!

A great place to getaway and just enjoy the solitude. We had a cozy fire in the comfort of this beautiful Croft house. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well equipped. It does not disappoint!

Isle of Skye

Wonderful house at the North end of Skye. Peaceful with beautiful views. Driving distance to Duntulm Castle ruins and the Musuem. Host was super responsive. I would recommend for a relaxing stay.
