"We came here 4 years ago and it used to be such a great resort that we decided to return. However, it Was such a big disappointment. The staff were rude and not friendly. You couldnt even get someone to serve you in the evening at the bar (even though we were tipping a lot each time). The food was so horrible and got food poisoning on 3rd day, food was stale with very limited options. One of the worse vacations thus far despite the large price tag of the trip. Do not recommend at all! "

"We loved the cleanliness, the beautiful landscaping, the beach with all its coconut trees. We didn't like the fact that the hotel feels like a shopping mall in the U.S. We went there expecting to see an authentic environment, but walking around stores selling the same brands you see in the U.S. with the elevator music everywhere including the restaurants was really disappointing. No live Dominican music, or recorded music either. "
