"This place is amazing. It was built as a winery in 1600’s and now it has been converted into a hotel. The architecture and interior finish is beautiful. The grounds and pool are meticulously maintained. It was a treat to have a full hot breakfast rather than the usual continental. It was very quiet however we were there in October."

I told the staff, they said that there was nothing that they could do. I spent a very uncomfortable night there. "The cleanliness was on point and the cleaning lady was really nice. Reception was alright, but I had to wait 2 days for someone to come and fix the shower cable, after I had told them 3 times. Even after the shower cable was ‘fixed’ though, there was still water coming out of the shower plate, which developed a small flooding each time I would shower. That, I had told them too. They did offer another room, but I was staying just for 3 nights, so I declined. Okay, in the overall."

"Be aware the there is no lift if you need one. Apartment is in a grand Palazzo with a shared common area and a balcony, great facilities and easy check in by a neighbour. Apartment is in a ZTL zone so if you have a car be aware when it is active. We were able to part for free on a side street about 5 minutes away."

"Let me start by saying this hotel is a beautiful hidden gem. The staff were extremely attentive, kind, and very thoughtful. "Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous town. Our stay was very relaxing. The rooms were so nice. Beautifully decorated, best port view, robes… Everything is walkable which adds to the convenience. The hotel and the town are quite charming. There was a wedding reception at the hotel our second evening, no notice. So they closed the restaurant. Loud music starting right at 11pm til past 2am. A voucher for a nearby restaurant would have been a nice gesture in lieu of the inconvenience and the loud music ."
