"Jo and Andy made us feel so welcome, great communication. Andy gave us a map of the area and marked the map for us, according to our interests. The room was excellent, the jellybeans a nice touch. "Very good hospitable father&son host. Poached eggs at breakfast the best we've had. Other gussts had good ideas/suggestions too as to what was happening in the area for free too, but was too late for us as we were leaving after a 2 night stay. Bed very comfortable. "The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent.
