"This property was wonderful!!! The house accommodated my large group for our visit to DC. We took a boys mentor group and familes to DC for an educational, cultural, and civics trip. This house was perfect! From the lovely kitchen, and open living space, to the spacious bedrooms and awesome basement with a spectacular gameroom area!! The only complaint we had was the stairs but I brought it the attention of the host and she said she would take care of the problem. We were also unable to work...

"This stay definitely exceeded our expectations. We had a total of 5 adults (all immediate family) and everyone was comfortable. The woodburning fireplace was wonderful on the chilly mornings. The host, Tyler was very quick and responsive for the couple of request we had. We will stay there again for sure."

"My family and I were very pleased with our stay. The location was easy walking distance to the Assateague bridge and many food trucks/restaurants, yet was very quiet in the later hours. Our kids loved the indoor pool and the extras offered. We are already planning a repeat stay!"

"I chose the location based on its proximity to a family gathering in Mary Mumford area of Richmond. I also knew Carytown, VMA and Windsor Farms were within easy walking distance from the location for our daily explorations on foot. We were so delighted to have lucked into such a lovely space. Definitely will consider it for a future trip."

"My family and I had a great time for our weekend getaway. Great location and amazing views! Very quiet neighborhood and so peaceful, especially at night. The house was very neat and clean and beautiful just like the pictures. Mary was a great host! She was very communicative before and during our stay. We enjoyed this trip at this home away from home. "This is a great location - may be the closest spot to stay on the way to the park that includes the beach. Accommodations are simple, but the price is right. We stayed here with 6 adults. The pull-out bed downstairs was cracked in the middle so the mattress sagged. I told the host about it after we left and he said he had a guy who would fix the bed."

"this place is great! Check in was smooth and easy. Owner Ed was always available if we had any questions, but not intrusive. The place was very comfortable for 6 of us, although 2 were children who slept in the sofa bed in the living room area. The location of the Villa is outstanding, a one minute walk to a fun water park and we got 2 day passes that the 2 kiddos could use every day. that was such a kind thing to include in our stay and saved us a lot of money.. "My husband and I stayed for the weekend for our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, smelled great, and looked well kept up. Although we didn’t use them, it seemed to have everything you already need to cook as well (pots, silverware, utensils, etc). I can’t speak for the club amenities since we didn’t use them but the registration staff were wonderful. My only regret is not staying here longer!"

"A great spot for a quick weekend getaway in the fall. Might feel cramped for longer stays but perfect for what we needed. Pool was a nice addition when it got rainy but it was a but chilly."
