"This was a great option fo traveling in the DC area with two families. We did not receive an email with check-in instructions, but the folks at Hosteeva were very kind and helpful when I called. Unfortunately, we were given the wrong door codes, and our room was being cleaned when we arrived at 4. The cleaning staff was not expecting us; however, the person cleaning our room was friendly and helpful, and he gave us working door codes. The place could use a deep clean (fridge, baseboards, etc.),...

"Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at the Colony. Parking was on sight and free. Our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom was spacious and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was great. The kitchen was a nice size and had all the consciences of home. Great location. All the staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. "This condo was even better than we expected. It has what has to be one of the most fabulous views in Virginia. Everything was so well supplied and inviting. The balcony overlooking the lake was so cozy and inviting that we ate all our meals there instead of going out. It is situated right near tha state park which has great walking trails right down to the Lake. The owner was so helpful with all our questions. We live only an hour away so i think we have found our retreat place!"

"Smith Mountain Lake was cold, 35 degrees with sustained winds of 30 mph during my stay, but I ventured out on to the lake and caught some nice laregmouth bass. It was very nice to come home to a safe, clean and warm vacation nook. I enjoyed my stay and would repeat."
