"We are from the Waikiki area but this is the first time I've stayed at the Queen Kap. I get coffee in their lobby all the time when I come to town. I was there with my elderly father to bring him back to the island one last time to relive and revisit his childhood memories. The hotel was a perfect location for us because he grew up in Kaimuki neighborhood. I was able to arrange an electric scooter that allow him to get around the property and the area. Just behind the complex is the Ala Wai Canal and Boulevard- which is very walkable/ perfect for jogging..and within a 2 km walk from Hotel is the Library, a Safeway Store and the famous Leonard's Bakery.
