"Probably better on lower floors, but my room (403 I think, top floor) had fairly low water pressure. The bathroom could have been cleaner too. Other than that though it was very nice. Classic Selena vibe which is lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, and the room was clean and tidy."

Room selection should include information about these conditions, which came as a surprise. "Great traditional hotel perfect for a local running event. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely evening meal at the on site restaurant (recommend the passion fruit posset) and the hotel kindly let me have an early breakfast. Only a couple of minor issues with road noise and light coming in from the side of curtain but this is just an observation - I am a light sleeper - and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Recommend and I will be returning! Thank you!"
