The area Slough itself did not feel that safe and there is nothing appealing in Slough. It's only a twenty drive from airport and approximately a 10 minute drive to Windsor castle. "Superb overnight stay. We were upgraded from the barns to the main island. First room had a very squeaky bed so we were moved without question. Room was small but beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed with luxurious bedding. Delicious mini buns welcoming us in the room. Well stocked complimentary fridge. Grounds are spectacular even in winter - lots of seating areas which must be wonderful in summer. Hope to return!"
