"Very artsy and fun, colorful; nice industrial feel to building. Cozy rooms, priority is the artsiness over function for a lot of room amenities (furniture, space, dishes, room layout, etc., e.g., biggest space to set anything on was the coffee table, top of microwave and top of fridge). Great place to stay if that's what you like, and good food across the street @ Storybook Cafe."

"Great spot. Really good cocktail bar and restaurant. Great location just off Broadway and in the RiNo district. Near good fashion/food spots. My only minor complaint is the pillows were too fat, with no readily available replacement. Either way will stay here again (bringing my own pillow though)"

"We loved our stay at the Slate! The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the 16th Street mall. The rooms are smaller compared to traditional hotel rooms, but the decor and ambience of the rooms are really nice. We loved seeing how the school was turned into this beautiful hotel. We would definitely stay again for our trips to Denver. "

"The property has charm and character for days. The chef on site, Brandon, is kind and extremely thoughtful. Our party had dietary restrictions that were very well accommodated, with no impact to flavor or plating. Truly a gem. The bar is charming, and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area within walking distance. Truly a must stay."
