"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "Lovely interesting place, friendly welcome. Hostel owners had time to talk and are very proud of their little jewel in Ennis. I highly recommend it, even in winter with floods threatening. Unfortunately didn't get to sample the restaurant which I hear is amazing. We will be returning."
