"This house is great, but I did have some things that made it not a great fit for me personally, but others may enjoy it. Part of the charm is it's an older house, that being said be walls are paper thin and everything creaks. I regularly heard conversations outside, and footsteps above. Lots of plants outside and inside which I thought i would like, but there were so many you had to push through to get light switches and window blinds. Because of the plants there are numerous signs that ask you to open the blinds when the suns out, which i understand, but the property is essentially surrounded by other buildings so it felt like a pointless task to open all the blinds especially for someone that prefers keeping privacy and leaving blinds closed. Plus there are multiple people staying at the property, and their entrances ho right by the windows that are open. Again some people will have zero problems with that. Location is nice, within walking distance to various bars and restaurants. There's a park nearby. One single AC unit for the apartment which is fairly loud and cycles a lot. In the daytime it appeared to struggle, but at night it was perfectly fine for the entire place. Parking is on the street, but i was always able to find a spot in front. I gave it 4 stars because while it's not quite right up my alley, I know plenty that would love it."

"The apartment was perfectly as described and VERY generous on space. The building itself did have us a bit concerned- the hallways to the apartments left a little to be desired in the cleanliness department- but the unit itself was very clean. I feel it would also be helpful to point out that while the listing says parking is available, it is street parking only or a paid lot, not private parking for the building.Host was openly communicative in a timely manner with all necessary info for check in/check out processes. Our stay was seamless and it suited our needs perfectly."
