"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were wonderful, caring and welcoming. The home was beautiful as was the surrounding property. Gorgeous pond, flowers, and all sorts of beautiful plants. We would've stayed longer had there been an opening, but we would no doubt come back again on our next trip to Canada. Our room was amazingly clean, the bed was super comfortable, and so warm and inviting. Our hosts recommended a couple places to visit (a wonderful restaurant and a large art/gift shop nearby) and we followed up on their suggestions and both were exceptional! I must add that we had beautiful fall weather during our stay here which made our stay even more exceptional. We highly recommend The Gathering Place on Golden Ponds."

"Lisa was a wonderful host this week during my stay at the Lakeside Inn. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. My room was renovated and had all the essentials after a long day of work. I had a wonderful home cooked meal at the restaurant and really enjoyed seeing the friendly cats outside and great conversations on the patio! 5 stars for Lisa and her team, they make the motel a home away from home! "
