"Loved our stay at True North B&B. Deb is an excellent host - very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Her breakfasts are next level! The bed is comfortable and the room is very spacious. It is a nice quiet spot and the pool is so refreshing. If staying on Magnetic Island Horseshoe Bay is the place to stay - beautiful beach, a number of great restaurants, access to walking tracks, a good bus service (we had our own car but the bus was quite regular). "What a great place. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable (great air conditioning for those of us who are cold blooded). The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the BBQ area and outdoor furniture. The staff behind the desk were lovely with recommendations for our travel. Breakfast was a nice bonus, the kids enjoyed choosing each day. We will be back."

And not being able to use the spa jets in the bathroom, but that’s likely a short term issue. Very good location and a nice pool. "

"This guest house is like a hostel in many ways but with the creative use of one lot not a huge property as I thought it would be. We had booked a tent experience which is a screen tent, holding a bed, night tables, lamp and fan, below a roof and side walls. Our unit had a whole side section about 6ft without a barrier so we could see to the next tent, wooden slats around the tent are not together which lets air flow in but gives little privacy. The gate style wooden door into our tent was not...

"What I didn't like was that there is no railings in the pool to help the older generation with arthritis out of pool. I wanted to go for a swim, but didn't because I knew I wouldn't be able to get out."
