"Overall, a great place to stay in Conakry. The hotel was very central and easily accessible to cabs and motos. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice to talk with. Lastly, the rooms were cheap and good for a quick stay However, the property is not extremely clean. I did find bugs in my room and there was mold on the walls. Otherwise, I would stay here again for the price I paid."

"I stayed there for two weeks and the stay was mostly pleasant. It is close to the city centre and pretty safe. The breakfast is amazing with excellent coffee. The staff are polite. The only complaint is I needed an iron but they were unable to locate their only iron (how difficult is to stock more irons!) for the duration of my 2 week stay. Pretty disappointed by that. They suggested I send my clothes to their ironing service which I didn't want to. "

"Our Children and us really like this Hotel , we have been in many Hotels in Guinea but this is the only one where you get peace and quiet, you can be focused, the food is good especially the peperoni pizza , calamari and the potato gratin and chocolate fondant cake, Management does a good job and overall I recommend this place as supposed to others in Guinea. "La Villa M is a fantastic new option in Conakry. The staff (and especially Jibril - he is a legend!) are amazing. The rooms are new and clean. AC and hot water are great and of high standard. The area is a lovely neighbourhood, away from the craziness of downtown and close to a nice beach to end the day with the locals. The complimentary breakfast is also very generous! The major cons for us: there is essentially no wifi. They ask that you pay about $5 for 1gb - the problem is that this device...

"This was a tough place to stay although I liked the local staff. Located on a very dusty side road, I had no running water and the feel was very very rustic. I bought some bottled water so that I could take a bottled water shower, shave and brush my teeth. Quite the challenge tho overall"
