But why send us a mail the day before our arrival saying looking forward to welcoming you, come and try our delicious food: but on arrival we found out the restaurant is closed at the weekend so we had to drive to town( after a long drive already) to find a restaurant? Not impressed."

"Used this hotel as an overnight stop on our journey by car to Italy - despite the pictures, not the most picturesque of locations. Good outside parking within hotel, no extra cost. Friendly welcome from staff. Very nice room, unusual colour scheme and decor which we liked but which may not be to everyone's taste. Comfortable bed, room and bathroom very clean. "Booked hotel as mid-point stay-over between Alsace & Provence - very well situated. Seemed to be in middle of nowhere and we quite expected to have hotel to ourselves, but it was quite full & obviously very popular. Dinner in restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast. Only slight downside was the lack of doors between sleeping area and toilet/shower - just curtains separated these areas. Curtain at bottom of bed to block out the early light was very good, but unfortunately the only light...
