"The hotel is very well maintained. The room was very modern, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Service was very courteous and friendly. Our stay included breakfast which offered a delicious variety of food. The location is peaceful, with a nice park, kiosk serving refreshments, public toilet and beach nearby with lifeguards on duty near the pier. There were two restaurants attached to the hotel. Restaurang Tegel served breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Crazy Thai Tegel, very authentic I might...

"We loved this hotel. It is definitely a bit quirky in its decor but it suited the surrounding area perfectly. The staff were all friendly and efficient, the evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic, and the breakfast was plentiful and varied and was equal, if not better, to the breakfasts we ate in Copenhagen and Malmo. The restaurant was light, airy and with a stunning view of the harbour. Loved it!"

"Gilleleje Badehotel is one of the classic Danish seaside hotels dating from the end of the 19th Century, when the well situated started to spend their holidays away from the capital city. Gilleleje has an active port with both fishing vessels and leisure boats, and nice restaurants. There is a beautiful 1,5 km seaside walking path from the hotel to the port. We visited during winter and really appreciated our windy walks in the area. "
