"The traditional Japanese hotel is so spacious that it surprises us the minute we walked in. It has a full living area, a bedroom and a long patio that provides excellent view to the back yard. It has a private indoor hot spring tub and a private outdoor onsen. The back yard lead to hotel garden area which has all kinds of beautiful flowers and plan. Mountain is just next to the backyard. The ambience was excellent. A simple traditional Japanese breakfast was provided for free a request."

"This was simply one of the best accommodation choices I have made in years! My room was large, bright and clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the coast. The manager was very polite, enthusiastic and friendly. He showed how much he values his guests. I had selected a breakfast option before arriving and had delicious local food brought to my room in the morning. Drinks, pool and onsen are all provided in this hotel. I informed the manager that I will definitely be back and he seemed to be pleased. The village of Usami is lovely and quiet during the week. There are very few shops but the large town of Atami is a short but scenic train journey away (2 trains per hour). "
