"A few things were not working on arrival (AC, TV remote, light bulb), but the friendly staff fixed it when notified. "

"Loved the position and our wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble. She took us to the shop to buy food,and also drove us to the pier for our onward Journey."

"We had a good stay at Pan Nam Resort. Staff were wonderful and worked hard on the English. (I had to use a translator app). We had no hand towels nor hand soap in the bathroom. The bath fixtures are very dated and in need of repair. The shower dripped day and night so we had to keep the door closed so we could sleep. The only other thing is there were no clothing hangers for our clothing. Some I like to hang to let the wrinkles out and I like to handwash some clothing but nothing to hang the clean clothing on. It would have been nice to have offered to sweep our room during our 5 night stay. All in all we would possibly stay again but would ask to see the rooms first before being assigned. "

"Hotel is spotless clean and the staff are very friendly. The only thing is the noise levels are quite high due to it being a Muslim area and people going to prayer early morning but for one night it’s ideal for Pakbara pier which is 5mins walk away but the hotel has a shuttle service to the pier. Don’t be put off by the name budget as its better than some 5 stars we have stayed in."

"Great service, 24hr check in, friendly helpful staff that spoke English. Room was really clean and well decorated with air con and a comfortable bed. Easy parking available and a great location close to the pier."
