Situated about 19 km from Thirunelli, the temple itself is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Here one also finds a small shrine of Jala Durga, located in a water body that originates from the Papanashini River near Thirunelli. "This was a scam. The property was advertised as having a pool and spa, which was a key reason for booking. On arrival, we were redirected to Pattisons Boutique, which has neither facility. Being told to drive to another hotel to use these amenities was not what was advertised or agreed upon. I would like a partial refund for the amount paid toward the pool and spa facilities. Otherwise, the staff were polite and helpful, and the estate was beautiful."
