"For a motel, a lot of care has gone into the re-design of the interiors. So whilst it might look like a typical motel with a bit of lipstick on the outside, the rooms are more welcoming and the common garden area is a lovely peaceful space. My only criticism - putting on a better external door and seal to the room. It wasn't sealed so well so the energy use is not efficient (it was cold when we stayed - went down to 5 degrees and the temp in the room was cold, particularly near the door's...
