"Bring your own coffee. Restaurant very minimal menu items. Hamburger, eggs Benedict and salad. Washer / Dryer in room works well but slow. Please don't interrupt the cycle, like we did. Lol Soap for laundry is supplied. Easy access to train station and mall. Lots of restaurants in food court at the Hakata station level BF1. Shin shin has excellent ramin."

"This hotel was very close to Hakata station, so if you are arriving via Shinkansen, you won't have to roll your luggage far to get to it. The entrance is located on a side street, so taxis and cars can pick you up easily. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. "

"Our stay was very nice and pleasant. The best breakfast buffet we ever experienced. There were many varieties of food to choose from. The staff, they were all courteous and polite. The room was small, but it was quiet and clean. Onsen was never crowded. We enjoyed it with perfect temperature. Highly recommend this hotel, but especially for breakfast buffet!"

"Incredibly thankful for staff allowing us to store our luggage for a few days prior to checking in! This made traveling between cities and islands way more enjoyable. We only stayed one evening at Oriental Express Fukuoka Tenjin however can say it is very convenient. Easy access to many amenities and shopping nearby, train station also within walking distance. Also enjoyed our breakfast buffet options and the welcome treat/time of happy hour in the lounge! The only feedback was the initial smell walking into the room, despite the hotel being a strict no smoking hotel. There was an odd smell but after opening window for a few hours, went away. Otherwise, excellent use of floor plan for those with lots of luggage. "
