"We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Varanda palmer beach and would definitely return. Our room was a sea view ground floor room which had its own private sun lougers outside the room which we thought was a real plus. The food at the main restaurant was very nice and varied every meal time. Nightly entertainment was vaired too. The beach is beautiful and you can walk for miles in both directions. "It's Old Hotel. Located in centre that's the only advantage. Very poor breakfast and service at prices charged by the hotel. Overall it's pathetic. The staff was so bad they charged 100 MUR for a bottle of water which is available in next shop at 20MUR. Ac doesn't work,Poor Breakfast. Bad Service. "

No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!"
