"Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt! Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der ruhige und entspannte Innenhof mit kleinem Pool und dass man sein Frühstück auf der sonnigen Terrasse genießen konnte. Einziges Manko: die Zimmer sind ziemlich hellhörig. Das hat uns für eine Nacht aber nicht groß gestört."

"The property is off the beaten track and Malgas is only accessible via a gravel road but if you want somewhere to escape and enjoy lovely views this is the place to go. The Boathouse is very well equipped with a spacious shower, all required kitchen utensils and surprisingly good wifi despite the remote location. If you are tall the sloping roof may be a challenge. "Lovely, caring owner in a gorgeous location. The property itself needs a bit of TLC. For 50 Rand, they will wash your clothes as there is no washing machine. "

Only drawback was that it was a bit of a squash, we should have booked a third room. The rooms are called “two bedroom” but they are actually one bedroom suites with a single sofa bed in the living room so not really suitable for three adults. "Alida and her husband welcomed us on first arrival and continued to make us welcome throughout our stay. There was a useful welcome pack and everything was as advertised. The shady verandah was wonderful complete with copious birds including cape sugarbirds and sunbirds visiting the feeders. The home made melk tart was delicious and very welcome.
