"The Gloppen Hotell is lovely in every way. The room was beautifully decorated, modern, spacious, and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from our window was priceless. We loved everything about this hotel. Breakfast was quite special. The selection of foods was vast, so beautifully displayed, and delicious. Everything about the Gloppen Hotell is grand!"

"Very nice hotel. We stayed in a family room in the barn which was very comfortable for three adults. Breakfast was excellent with delicious homemade bread, jams, and pate. Also very good croissants. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"The hotel was self service with the reception and breakfast/dining room in the separate hotel location at 5min. The elevator was is a closed section and had to take our luggage by the stairs."

"Great location and superb views from our room and the dining room. Lots of information about the island available in English in the room, the library and the host on check in. Good breakfast. No evening meal available as the chef had run away to sea which meant a twenty mile round trip to eat in the evening. There was also an issue with the front door key not working properly "

"Hotel was quiet. Our room was spacious and comfy. The furniture was a little dated and a lightbulb was out in the light near the door. It's a budget hotel, so very basic but clean and good for a night stay over. Only thing I can imagine needing in the room was a kettle to make coffee in the morning. It was kind of weird to check-in at the other hotel but not really a big deal to us. "
