"Acajou offered exactly what my wife and I needed for a short staycation. A few minutes walk to the beach which walks more of having your own private getaway. The food was home cooked and delicious. Very friendly and courteous staff who were more than accommodating. We had the ability to see nesting turtles from our hut! Will be rebooking and recommending. Thank you Acajou! "

"The Hotel was situated next to the movietowne which was very convenient for other dining options. The reservation officer that checked us in was very nice and help sorted out whether breakfast was included in the price since this was hard to tell from the email received from Expedia or Marriott. "The owner took us to the airport at no charge at 6:00 AM. The owner changed our room when aircon leaked. Huge effort was made on cleanliness & service. Rooms were large as were beds. The hotel was booked for airport convenience and it meets that. Rooms had external doors & wall which I didn’t like as the country has a poor safety reputation. There was a restaurant on site which was good as we mightn’t have had a meal otherwise as walking at night isn’t recommended & we were on a very short trip...

"The hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The room was spacious and nicely furnished except for the sofa which had a tear on one arm. The advertised free breakfast was not provided perhaps not surprising as I was the only guest there. The manager was very helpful in setting up a sightseeing tour for me. "

"I've been living in Trinidad for 4 years now and I literally book a room just to get away and it's absolutely fabulous the owner of this place is so cool they have a bar by the pool side which is very convenient the Workman there are amazing"

"The pool is not for children. It's basically 5ft deep end to end. I asked if they could drain out 1.5 ft of water since NO ONE used the pool for our entire time there. I have 4 small children with me and was looking forward to the onsite pool, of course the request was denied. Other than that nice location and wonderful staff, except the one that clearly does not know the hotel offers roll away beds and told me they have no such accommodation amenity. Three days later I get a knock at my door ...
