"The time I checked in to the first room, the switch in the room doesn’t work, there is only light in the bathroom. Then they change me to another room, and this room had a horrible smell like something died there. The front desk lady said the sewer was backed up in that room, and she apologized so she gave me another room. "Hotel de Guise has bags of charm so close to Nancy’s Grand Rue and is a peaceful spot to stay. A perfect small friendly hotel, with attentive but not intrusive service. Despite being in the ‘Old town’ nearby parking is no problem and if downloaded the EasyPark app for on street parking is super easy to use. "

"Perfect overnight stop when travelling with dogs - free of charge which is unique as most hotels really sting you! Nice green area around the property which again was great for our dogs. Basic, small room but all good. Bonus is the big restaurang next door that serves fondue, raclette and a big menue."
