"This hotel is a convenient stopping over pojnt when we travel from the UK to southern Spain. There is a good area at the side of the hotel where the dogs can let off steam. However, on our last two stays there has been a lot of rubbish on the grassy area, which spoils the overall experience. Natalia on reception was top notch!"

"A quaint hotel in a small village. We had 2 of the rooms and only another couple were there. Marcos the person managing the hotel was charming and extra helpful. The hotel smelled wonderful. They called us early in the day to make sure we knew they closed for dinner at 9. We arrived at 845 and were able to have a beautiful dinner there. The next morning breakfast was excellent as well. "Etape sur le Camino, début novembre. Au moment où les températures sont basses, est apprécié un accueil chaleureux. Malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas. Dans la chambre les radiateurs étaient à l'arrêt dans la journée. Dans le salon le radiateur et la cheminée ne servaient qu'à la décoration, la doudoune et le bonnet n'étaient pas inutiles. La personne qui nous a accueilli aussi froide que le reste était absente toute la journée et nous a bien fait savoir qu'une demande d'un peu plus de café...

"I am very surprised with the rating of this establishment. We had trouble finding it as it looks nothing like the main picture on hotel.com which more like the town hall than the hotel. We arrived at 7.30 only to be told the kitchen closed at 8.00. This is very unusual as most Spanish restaurants only open about 8. I booked a double room with additional single bed and we were given smallish room containing two singles. In the restaurant, we were given a choice of pork chicken or hamburger...

"The hotel's location isn't the best in terms of being central in Burgos and the neighbourhood isn't the most attractive. However, the hotel itself was clean and the room quiet and the service was attentive. There was a bit of confusion about breakfast because there really wasn't much on offer except some croissants in cling film -- this appeared to be a Corona restriction and not any fault of the hotel."

"For the money we paid I just expected so much more from this property. It looked like such a beautiful property from the pictures but turned out to be very run downed. I would give this hotel a much better score as well but in my opinion it’s 2020, you need to have a good wifi network and this place just didn’t. "
