Neighborhood is an old district so little shops and traditional market, nothing fancy but over four days discovered a few good dining options within walking distance. Parking and getting around in that particular area was a little tricky though, as someone blocked the street in the morning one side with cones and the other by parking a car and I couldn’t get out. Conveniently close to Fort Zeelandia and shopping, which was also nice"

"This hotel is centrally located in Tainan. It is easy to get to from the main train station by foot, bus or taxi/Uber. It is about a 30 minute ride via Uber from the HSR station and about 40 minutes by express bus. The staff is friendly and helpful. They will greet you every time you pass through the lobby! The room is pretty clean although I did find some high dust. You'll want to run a tissue across the surface of anyplace you want to hang something. (over the shower stall or clothes rack)...

"Fast and friendly services; however, my particular room (7005) has a foul odor and the bathroom is the worst which made my stay quiet unpleasant... there is no way that the daily maid/room service crew don't know the odor ...
