"The staff was great and helpful. The amenities were sufficient. The pool was clean. The breakfast was average. The restaurant for dinner is good. Like the parrots being raised there. Walking distance to most attractions and activities. Overall, a great stay. But the private car transport from the Mactan airport which was booked through the resort was terrible. The driver arrived 1 hour and 10 min after I got out of the airport exit with an on-time flight arrival. The worst thing was not only that the driver was not there with a sign with my name waiting for me at the exit on my arrival, but that there was not even a message to me saying that he would be late. I was left dangling at the airport exit at a loss and high anxiety and high heat with no message, pondering should I wait or is the driver coming, etc. Finally, after waiting 25 minutes at the airport exit, the driver called (WhatsApp) that he would take another 15 min to arrive at the airport. But, in fact, it took him another 40 minutes to arrive, making the totally wait 1 hour and 10 min in the Cebu high heat as I was already out of the air-conditioning space. The taxi booking charged 4000 peso for terrible service. My return-to-airport private car service was only 2300 peso booked through a dive shop with on-time pickup at the resort."

"Hotel is really nice and very peaceful. You have your own private across to ocean right from the resort, with corals great for diving. A bit far from main part of town if you want to get places to eat, will take like 15 minutes on scotter. Overall amazing resort for the price."
