"Stayed in the penthouse - it was a huge apartment and was generally very functional, despite a few quirks. The view across the lake was very satisfying and could be enjoyed from the balcony or just sitting in armchairs inside with a coffee. TVs were new, big and easily connected to Netflix and YouTube (bonus points). Beds were firm but acceptable, bathrooms were huge but basic (some extra towel rails wouldn't go astray), had a nice work desk and office chair for the unfortunate work distractions...

"Our Stay at Rolling Waves 1 was a wonderful stay. There was everything we needed for our 10 day stay and a BBQ Webber for the fishing trips. Great book selection also for those moments of down time. The rooms are very compact but quite big bathrooms. 3min walk to park and beach was a great bonus to wake up and get the kids and dog out for a run and play first thing in the morning. Warmly greeted on arrival by Corinne (and a couple of rascally Furkids), we were shown the premises and given a choice of rooms with a theme. We took "Africa" and were not disappointed. "The property was spacious, very clean and well maintained. The view was lovely from high up on the hill. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. I'm sure it would be comfortable in summer, however, we stayed in winter and the heating was inadequate. There is an electric fireplace which just puffs out a tiny bit of heat and a split system, which is pretty old and didn't work well.
