"Despite the picture of the old building on the booking, we were in the nearby 'new' building - a very good, brand new hotel that is still being finished .... but our stay and our room was great - large, spacious room, huge shower, huge bed."

Our room had one small comforter. No towels. No glasses. 2 pillows. A refrigerator that did not work. The washer dryer area for the hotel is dirty and pathetic. The reception area had trash that was not picked up for two days and no Receptionist. There was quite a bit of deferred maintenance on the property. It...

"Great stay here. Lovely hotel and hilltop village. Easy to find from the motorway and plenty of parking. Room was small but very well designed and pleased we had a balcony as travelled with our dog. Breakfast was excellent "

"Hotel was a great place to getaway close to many castles to visit and countryside to take it. The room was set up beautifully and came stocked with snacks and drinks. The hotel restaurant was great we ate there 2 of our 4 nights. The Menu is very accommodating and the staff very friendly and helpful (they have English menus as an option)."

"Very nice old hotel, well maintained, large room, very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was outstanding, much more elaborate than most hotels. Only downsides are no dedicated parking, and no AC. In late September leaving the windows open kept the room comfortable, but diners outside were a little noisy until about 11 pm. Also would recommend the top floor, as the floors creak. Regardless, would definitely stay there again if the outside temps were right. "

"Pleased by the condition and cleanliness of room, but tipping the window open (with sheers closed) left me the next day with bites covering my left arm and left side of my face. (Isleep on my right side.) The bites swelled and even eventually turned into bruises. Germany needs window screens, for sure. Only one other problem: finding this place!
