It appears to be a renovation of an early 1900's, un-reinforced masonry, Craftsman-Art nouveau style building, with a colonial interior. The details are truly amazing right down to the ironwork's. "Beautiful hotel, well located, stayed in the 2nd building on the 6th floor two-floor suite. Room was nice and clean, there’s an outdoor pool and a restaurant on the same floor. I would have rated them 5 star but at check-in I told them I hadn’t paid for the room yet, the desk assured me that no it was already fully paid.. next day I come back to the hotel after a day out.. room door is locked, I had to go back down to check-in for them to mention me the room was not paid.. duh! Secondly I paid...

They can also use more English speaking staff at the front desk if they want to appeal more to North American English speaking travelers."
