"Property staff Michael & Joyce was amazing. Service was excellent. We had dinner at the hotel on our first night which was outstanding. The only issues we had was that we booked breakfast included rate only to be told by the hotel that our booking does not include breakfast. We booked a superior room with a bath due to the fact that I had a back op, the images and information on the website showed the superior room with a bath and shower. We were told the superior room comes without a bath....

"The place is beautiful, no doubt, and if you want a quiet get away then this is for you. I did find the roads and lighting around the estate to be rundown somewhat, and that I feel is not good. Everything else is truly beautiful."

"Stopped in here for a one night stopover enroute to Marloth Park, selected due to high reviews score. A secure spot. Sue and Belinda went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, from catering to a (sort of) vegetarian, to extra blankets for a nippy night. Whilst the building is an historical one I feel the interior could do with a makeover - the main dining/social/pub area is quite cluttered with a strange mix of decor that does not appear to relate to either South Africa,...

"The physicality is breath taking! It is close enough to Johannesburg that a quick weekend getaway is doable without driving for untold hours before you reach your destination. This is quiet hideaway, and even though Wi-Fi availability is advertised, there is no cover in the accommodation that we used. Spotty Wi-Fi is available in the reception area. The approach roadway is bad! So no small cars as you need height or off-road ability, large cars are wide and are damaged by encroaching vegetation...

"The facilities and food were excellent value for service and for that reason I would recommend Hannah lodge. That being said anyone booking through Expedia should bring as much supporting documentation as possible noting their payment. Despite having an email from Expedia demonstrating that I was already charged the hotel they hotel staff were insisting I had not yet settled my bill and ultimately I was pulling up my credit card statement to show them I had. This was a major check out hassle...

"Incredible place. We were looked after very well by all staff. We had a fantastic stay. Food is lovely. It's just a chill out place ... one with nature. A must visit when you are travelling to or/and from Kruger National Park. All being well, we shall return."
