"One of the best places i have ever stayed"

"This is an amazing property built in the late 60's. Very rustic and built into a rock mountain with fantastic views over the Northern Serengeti. You must appreciate rustic and that not always will you have power and hot water, it is very very remote and difficult to get to. I'm an adventurer and this was my favorite of all the places we stayed, but not for everyone. It could use some maintenance, but overall the food was great and is a one of a kind accommodation. We booked and paid for...

"Everything was absolutely amazing!! "

"The Malakai is essentially brand new, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and kept in impeccable condition by the staff. I cannot say enough good things about the people that work there – led by Alex at the front desk and his team, they were very polite, overly attentive to all my needs and they provided superior service. Simply stated, there was nothing they could have done to make me more comfortable. In the evenings around dark, they secured my tent, and in the mornings, they opened...

"The Lodge is just outside the Serengeti Park, on a hill, with a nice view. Rooms are confortable even if not luxus, the restaurant is good and the people serving were friendly, by warm weather it is very nice to sit outside and look far into the park. I found the people at the reception quite cold and distanced, a pity."

"Absolutly perfect, wonderful setting, fantastic breakfast! Super friendly staff!"

"Good staff. Maria and Kelvin were wonderful. The food was excellent and plenty."

"Excellent setting to enjoy the quiet part of the Serengetti. Heartfelt Karibu athmospher by staff"

"The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. The young chef made meals that were consistently tasty. Rashid the Camp manager was a charm and excellent host. Highly recommend this place. "

"Remote glamping. Feels like a miracle that this camp in the middle of the Serengeti has hot water, electricity, Internet, and white tablecloth dining. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is not for the faint hearted or light sleeper. There are delightful animal noises at night. Baboons come into the camp at dusk. You need an escort to the dining tent after dark (easily arranged by telephone). I had a buffalo outside my tent one night. I never felt unsafe though. I would strongly recommend to...

"The camp is right in the center of the Serengeti. The staff, from my guide and driver, who was very knowledgeable of the fauna and very attentive to my needs, to the entire staff,: kitchen, restaurant, guards, everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The camp itself is wonderful, clean well organized comfortable. the only thing one needs to be aware of is the unprofessionalism of the sales and marketing manager, who is money hungry and has no respect for the wishes of the client. A shame for...
