"Fabulous choice for a one night stay. We loved everything about the hotel and the staff. Breakfast and dinner was great. We had an enjoyable walk and the village was just lovely."

"The place had a nice view of the mountains, the room was large, the location was in the middle of nowhere (kind of the point) but the hotel restaurant (one of four in the whole town) was closed 2/3 nights we were there. Also, the spa apparently “is only open on Saturdays”. We went in September and the weather was still warm so who knows if they open at all in the off season. Other than that the pool was nice and the staff was friendly enough. We just wish we could have planned better dining....

"Unfortunately we only had time to stay here one night. It is in a quiet location with fantastic views and a wonderful swimming pool. The room was large and had a big bathroom as well. The owners are really friendly and the breakfast was amazing. There is a village close by with a busy bar that does evening meals if you want to eat out and there are beautiful beaches near too. I only wish we had stayed longer to explore the area and relax in the hotel. "

"The hotel was run down and in need of a remake. But it’s poorly built from the start, the painting had not been done under the curtains and the general finish was as if they had run out of money before the building works completion. Our bath had a algae sealant around it, as did the shower. The food was absolutely atrocious, I have never experienced such bad food, they couldn’t even cook potato chips, the chef must of trained in a prison. "The Hotel Maria Manuela is great; nice rooms, and the Spa is excellent. Located at Benia de Onis, is a great option off the beaten path, surrounded by nature; the food at the restaurants across the Hotel is amazing. Do not leave without visiting the store next door to the hotel where they sell local cheese, iberico ham, bread and of course Cider. "
