"Kind of an awkward situation. In all the hotels we have stayed in over the years, we have never encountered being asked to support the housekeeping team by: Taking out our trash, removing the sheets and pillowcases (not the pillow protectors ugh) and leaving them piled on top of bed, load and start the dishwasher and leave all the towels in the sink! We are paying a high price to stay at the hotel, and charged service fees, etc. The housekeepers are paid to clean the rooms after we leave, why should we do their jobs? We found it uncomfortable. Just to note, I always straighten the room and bed linen, pick up all the trash around the room and place in trash can, and try to leave the room tidy enough when we check out. We were told twice, big note in the room and lengthy text on our departure."
